The CCTBD Quality Management System is the custodian of all aspects of ensuring quality products at CTTBD, it forms the interaction between the processes within the organization.
The system is based on preventing non-conformity during product development, manufacturing and distribution and use of the manufactured products by establishing and maintaining an environment which encourages all members in the production and supply chain to comply with the established standards and to pursue continuous improvement in quality and productivity throughout the processes.
The Tick-Borne Diseases vaccines and sore-diagnostic reagents produced at the Center include East Coast fever(ECF) vaccines. CTTBD has in the past produced Heart water(Cowdria) vaccines, Anaplasma/Babesia vaccines and ECF antigen slides.
